LinkWare™ Live works with the Brother® LabelLink™ application to let you print your cable ID sets on the Brother model PT-E550W (P-touch® EDGE) industrial wireless handheld labeling tool.

1. Get LabelLink
Download the free Brother™ LabelLink™ application from the Apple® Store to your iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod® device.
Note: Your device must have iOS version 7.0 or later.
2. Create a cable ID set in a LinkWare Live project
First, on the project's main page, create a subproject and a test setup. Add the test setup to the subproject. Then, on the subproject's RESULTS tab, create a cable ID set.
3. Sign in to LinkWare Live from the LabelLink application
In the LabelLink app, tap Download Project, then sign in to LinkWare Live.
Note: An Error 400 or 401 indicates that the username or password for LinkWare Live is incorrect. If you are not sure about your sign-in credentials, use them to try to sign in to LinkWare Live from a web browser.
Select the LinkWare Live project that has the cable ID set you want to print, then tap Download. LabelLink downloads all the cable IDs in the project.

4. Configure the Wi-Fi connection on the printer
If you have already set up an SSID and password on the printer, go to step 5.
4.1. Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer.
4.2. Press the Menu button, then use the OK button to select WLAN > Network Setting > Direct Mode.
4.3. The SSID for the printer shows. You can change it if you’d like.
4.4. Press OK, enter a password for Wi-Fi access to the printer, then press OK.
5. Connect your mobile device to the printer
5.1. Go to the Wi-Fi Settings on the mobile device. You should see the Brother printer in the set of available connections.
5.2. Select the printer, enter the password you created for the printer, then tap Join.
6. Send the cable ID set to the printer
6.1. In the LabelLink app, tap Send. LabelLink sends all the cable ID sets in the project to the Brother printer.
6.2. The printer shows that the transfer is in progress. When the transfer is complete, the LabelLink app shows Success: Database Upload Complete!
6.3. On the printer, press Database, select the correct project, then press OK. The printer shows the cable ID set.
7. Print the labels
7.1. Press the OK button to highlight the first cable ID in the range you want to print, press the down arrow to select a range of labels, then press OK again.
7.2. Press Print.
7.3. Select All to print all the labels you selected, Current to print the label where the cursor was in the set, or Range to select a range of labels within the range you highlighted, then press OK.
7.4. Set the range of labels to print, if necessary, then press OK. The printer starts printing your labels.
